Harvest Festivities Begin

Enjoy harvest with local winemakers and growers each August, while celebrating the newest Suisun Valley vintage. Harvest Celebration attendees travel throughout Suisun Valley, tasting specialty products and varieties right out of the field. Mingle with the winery and farm stand owners or winemakers at each location to learn their unique story.

Free and Open to the Public

Getting around is enjoyable, as the Suisun Valley “loop” is located just minutes from I-80 in Fairfield, but the best news is that the Harvest Celebration is free and open to the public. Wineries offer wine tastings that are paired with local foods. There are a lot of other fun, seasonal activities; these include music, picnics, vineyard tours, barrel samples, grape tasting, and sometimes grape stomping.  Local farmers and artists also celebrate with jam and olive oil tastings, U-pick specials, and artist demonstrations.

“Suisun Valley offers a totally unique and bountiful harvest experience.” ~ Dean Frisbee, Ledgewood Creek Winery
