At G V Cellars, we invite you to come and sample our award-winning wine in our tasting room. Stay a while longer and experience a picture perfect view from our deck, a walk through our scenic vineyards, or a picnic with friends. The tasting room is open Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and weekdays by appointment.

In 1952, Ben Volkhardt Sr. founded an 80-acre fruit orchard, which had an accompanying four-acre vineyard. The orchard was slowly replanted over the next 20 years to wine grapes, by Volkhardt Family Vineyards. In May 2005, G V Cellars acquired the winery and vineyards.
Our goal is to highlight the fruit quality of our Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sangiovese, Dolcetto, and Cabernet Franc. We offer an extensive collection of high quality, value priced wines. With our rich soil and temperate climate, we feel strongly about our relationship to the land. But it is the people of Solano County, our neighbors, that are our greatest asset and reward. Our wines have steadily gained attention because of their support.
