Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company has two olive groves; one is in Solano County’s Green Valley, and the other in Suisun Valley. Owners Ann and Mark Sievers settled here because the Mediterranean climate is just right for growing and producing their world-class olive oil.

Il Fiorello Suisun Valley Olive Oil

Our name “Il Fiorello” means “little flower” in Italian. We chose it for the tiny, white flowers on the olive trees, each of which becomes a delicious olive for milling into our ultra premium oil.

Why we’re in Suisun Valley
We’re a small, family-owned company, and we’re dedicated to growing and milling the finest artisan olive oil from our own groves. Our properties are located between Fairfield and Napa Valley where creek-side soils allow for excellent drainage for our trees, which is so important for quality, delicious oil.

Our Olive Varieties
In Green Valley, our grove is planted with a mixture of Italian varieties

  • Frantoio has robust flavor and slight but tangy, peppery taste.
  • Leccino has a bright olive flavor with a hint of butter, and it’s slightly richer tasting than the Frantoio.
  • Pendolino is a brilliant green olive that gives our blends a wonderful balance.

Our Suisun Valley grove is home to numerous international varieties.

Perfect Harvests
We use the world’s leading manufacturer of olive oil production machinery, because we want to make the best olive oils possible. There’s no greater joy than standing at the final separator, as the olives are milled, and dipping pieces of fresh bread into the fresh golden-green oil. The rich taste fills your mouth with delicious and complex flavors.

Custom Crush Your Own Olives
If you wish to custom crush your own olives, please contact us as soon as possible to reserve a milling date. If you have less than 700 pounds, we offer the option of milling on "community day,"  which is the Sunday following Thanksgiving every year.

Visit us
We are open daily from 1-5 p.m. for tastings of world-class olive oil, unique balsamic reductions and rare wines. Tours of the mill and grove are available by appointment only. In the fall, the harvest and milling season are an exciting times to visit by calling (707) 864-1529.
